The challenge
Counting people by hand is slow, and the number that matters is the one right now: how many are on this bus, or how many are still inside this plant.
What we did
- 01Cameras over each door or gate with on-device detection, two-way counting and offline storage.
- 02A dashboard designed around the questions operators ask: who is inside now, where and when.
- 03Alerts when a limit is crossed, on desktop and mobile.
What we delivered
- Edge counting pipeline
- Live dashboard (desktop and mobile)
- Alerts and reports
Where it runs
One technology, 2 places it matters.

Passenger counting for bus fleets
Operators ran half-empty routes on one side of the city and overcrowded ones on the other, with no live passenger data. As one fleet manager told us: “I need to know exactly who boards, when and where.”
- A camera over each door counts boardings and exits, even offline
- Live occupancy and route-wise footfall on one dashboard
- Alerts when a bus runs over capacity
- 02Chemical manufacturing
Live headcount for a hazardous plant
In an emergency, the control room has to know exactly how many people are inside the plant, and how many have reached the assembly point. Paper registers cannot keep up.
- Cameras at every gate count each entry and exit in real time
- A live headcount for the control room, plant-wide and by zone
- Evacuation mode that counts people arriving at the assembly point
